LSIC Freshman and Transfer Colloquia

Faculty wishing to offer a Liberal Studies Introductory Colloquium for freshman (LSIC 179) or transfer students (LSIC 379) should consult the "Colloquia" link in the blue box menu on the right.

Intensives and Cluster Courses

Once a course is approved to carry a specific intensive designation, that designation is valid for a period of three academic years. Faculty who wish to have a course approved beyond the three year limit must submit the course for renewal. Please review the approval / renewal information for each intensive or contact the individual intensive subcommittee chair for additional information.

Adding courses to a cluster requires the cluster coordinator to submit the requested addition to the Cluster Oversight Committee for consideration.

Deadlines for Clusters and Intensives

To have a course considered for Spring 2012:
Proposals should be received by Sept. 16, 2011.

To have a course considered for Fall 2012:
Proposals should be received by Feb. 10, 2012.

To have a course considered for Spring 2013:
Proposals should be received by Sept. 21, 2012.
