Information Literacy Intensives

Becoming information-literate means learning to find, evaluate, integrate, and cite material from appropriate academic sources. At UNC Asheville, students are required to take two Information Literacy Intensive courses, one of which is Language 120. Transfer students will receive an ILI by completing LSIC 379. Students will select one additional ILI from available courses. All academic departments have Information Literacy Intensive courses in their curriculum.

The list of courses that are considered ILI can be seen by clicking on the Intensives link.
