LS 479 Liberal Studies Senior Colloquium (Cultivating Global Citizenship)

This course promises to be an exciting interdisciplinary examination of 21st century conceptions and issues in global citizenship, including study of the topics of globalization, governance, development, and environmental justice.  The course topics will be examined through the lenses of Western and non-Western ethical traditions; it is a team designed, interdisciplinary curriculum, and will offer both large-group lectures and small discussion sections. Students can fulfill the senior capstone requirement by completing either LS 479 or HUM 414, The Individual in the Contemporary World.
